Bootstraps and Grease            

For a long time I thought  about writing  this story but could never find the time. After I retired I seriously pursued my sandblast glass etching hobby and created several commercial commissions in the Brooksville Florida area.

     At the same time I created nearly one hundred works of my choosing. Being in no hurry to let the most of them go, I've kind of run out of storage space.

     That in mind, one day I was sitting at the computer and began to write some of my memories. From that beginning this story rose. 

   When I finished I had four hundred and forty nine pages. 

    It is based on the life of a good friend who had a good heart.  He was blessed with a benelvent mentor in his early life and prospered only to through no fault of his own was in a disasterous accident. 

      This story follows his recovery as he pulled himself and his family up by the bootstraps and on occasion, the greasing of the right palms.
